Iowa Service Area 5A - Salamander Training

Training will be conducted by Midwest Card and ID Solutions (Brenden Ourth). Hosted by Scott County Emergency Management and funded by Iowa Public Health Service Area 5A. PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE CLASS AT LINK BELOW
The training session will cover the Salamander solutions purchased by many counties and regions in Iowa and the Iowa HSEMD funded Salamander credentialing project. This session will also focus on the "incident/event" tracking aspects of Salamander used to account for personnel, volunteers, and equipment. Patient tracking and shelter management will also be discussed. Topics will also include the Salamander "02-TRACK" APP (for smartphones and tablets) to conduct resource accountability. The Salamander "rapidTAG" incident specific badging system and Salamander "COMMAND" solution will also be covered. Using "Salamander LIVE", this course will also cover the ability to gain greater situational awareness and generate incident specific reports (including NEW personnel and equipment COST REPORTS.
TARGET AUDIENCE: State, County and local Emergency Management, Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement, Public Works, Public Health, City/County Administration or any personnel who will be part of an emergency or disaster response. And any individuals who want to learn more about the uses and benefits of this powerful and Credentialing/Resource Management and Accountability System.
